The Sun Holidays Upgrades - A comprehensive guide
By collecting the codes, you could enjoy a holiday for as little as £9.50 per person, however if you want to splash out a little and treat yourself, most resorts have upgrade options when booking the Sun holidays. Standard accommodation is basic but comfortable so upgrading to a bigger caravan, a nicer view, or simply one with a few extras might be nice. Here is our guide to the upgrade options available when using the sun holiday codes.
Caravan Upgrade Options
The upgrade options vary depending on the holiday park you choose. When booking with the Sun, you'll get to choose up to four different holiday parks to stay at so that if your first option isn't available, you won't be left high and dry with a holiday park you don't want to stay at. The holiday parks range from independently owned to big brands like Butlins and Park Resorts so again, the options can vary so its best to check with each park. As a guide though, you can expect the below upgrade options:
Comfort Plus
You can upgrade your caravan from as little as £5 per person at certain holiday parks. By upgrading to a Comfort Plus caravan, you can enjoy multi room heating, including in the lounge, particularly useful when holidaying in the non-summer months. If you have paid extra for bedding, this will also be made up on the beds for your arrival.
Comfort Extra Wide
Upgrading your caravan to the Comfort Extra Wide option offer an extra 2ft of width space in your caravan compared to the Comfort Plus caravans. These may also come with additional bedrooms for if you are a larger group on holiday. You'll also be able to check in from 3pm instead of the standard 4pm check-in. Upgrades to Comfort Extra Wide caravans start from £10 per person.
Premier Plus Caravans
For an additional £23 per person, at selected holiday parks across the UK and Europe, you can upgrade to a Premier Plus caravan where, in addition to your 12ft wide caravan, you'll enjoy an ultra modern interior with modern fittings and central heating throughout. These caravans sleep up to eight people and bed linen is included and beds will be made up prior to your arrival. Check-in is also from 3pm when booking a Premier Plus caravan.

The Sun Holidays can be great but sometimes you don't want to have to cook on holiday, right? Half board upgrades at a select number of holiday parks are also an option when booking. Additional costs vary from £12.95-£19.25 per person per night (based on four people sharing a caravan), however no self catering facilities will be available to you if you select this option.
You can book a half board upgrade at the time of booking, however you will be charged directly by the holiday park, not at the time of booking.
